Webster Lupton
Webster Lupton: Copy Editor.
As a former copy editor for a major newspaper, Webster’s motto is a simple one: "Get it right." By that, I mean facts first. The five Ws are the soul of non-fiction. The most talented non-fiction writer has his credibility weakened if a name is misspelled, a date misplaced, or an event is inaccurately described. The most important facts should be double-checked and any controversial material, triple-checked. Webster’s book, A Place to Play won the Willie Parker Peace Award for best history books in 2008. He is shown accepting his award.

Design and Layout Team
Pace Clem: Designer
Pace continues to amaze us at Warren. His ability to ‘read’ an author's ‘yet to be created’ cover image is astounding. He leaves our authors saying, “How did he know what I had only imagined?!”
Gracia Bennes: A book cover is a story unto itself and if done well, encourages the buyer to pick up the book and further explore. As a designer, illustrator, and photographer, Gracia loves the challenge and excitement of seeing the cover come to life in an eye catching, creative manner which clearly represents the author’s concept or message. Her design work includes first time and established authors, children’s books as well as business, and academic and trade publications.
Jason Hendrikson:
